Dr. Susan Karnyski

Dr. KarnyskiAfter graduating from Greece Olympia High School, Dr. Susan Karnyski attended the State University of New York at Genesco where she majored in Biology and received her BS Degree in 1994. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Karnyski was admitted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM Degree in 2001.

As an undergraduate and as a veterinary student, Dr. Karnyski excelled academically. She was a Dean's List student at the State University of New York and during her senior year of veterinary school, was the recipient of the AAHA Small Animal Achievement Award. At graduation, she was Valedictorian of her veterinary school senior class.

Dr. Karnyski enjoys spending much of her free time with her pets. They include 3 dogs: Kelly and Rasta who are missed breeds, and Haille a greyhound. She also has 2 cats, Lia and Simon. Rasta and Lia are Caribbean pets, as they were adopted from the island of St. Kittas where Dr. Karnyski went to vet school. The remainder of her free time is spent on long walks with the dogs, reading, skiing, and relaxing with family and friends.
